We would like to bring you up to date on the latest information regarding camping and Covid-19 measures. Or “Camping in Corona Time at Camp Kyllburg”.
As you may have been able to follow via news reports, there are many different opinions about the development of and guidelines for dealing with COVID-19. Each country is trying in its own way to find the best way to prevent the spread of this nasty virus as well as possible relaxation of rules. Here in Germany there may be different rules than you are used to. Below we inform you about the current regulations on Camping/Covid-19 at our campsite.
On Monday 26.4 a new press conference took place in Germany in which, among other things, it was stated that all tourist accommodations (incl. campsites) must remain closed until at least May 23. This means that the campsites, hotels and vacation parks etc. in Germany may not open for the time being. Unlike campsites the Netherlands/Belgium, we have all already been closed since October 2020. Germany will also go into a hard lockdown for a while to prevent further spread of infections.
What does this mean for you? Camping in Germany until May 23 is not possible! We hope to welcome you back after April 25 … however, at this time nothing is certain.
When new updates / new information comes; we will inform you soon as possible.
Take care of each other and please follow the rules. Stay healthy! Help each other whenever you can. So that we may hopefully welcome you soon, in good health, at our campsite.
